Enter yarn line, color, lot label, available skeins and shelf location from a physical count. Treat unknown lot labels as unresolved rather than assuming they match.
A FOCUSED TOOL, CURRENTLY IN PLANNING
Twelve skeins in stock.
But six that belong together?
LotTogether is a planned local worksheet for assigning complete orders to one dye lot. See when total stock looks sufficient but no single lot can fill a customer's project.

Yarn dye-lot order allocation
For independent yarn sellers manually packing several project-sized orders from mixed dye-lot stock.
THE FIRST VERSION, KEPT FOCUSED
Keep each project in one lot
Keep each project in one lot
Compare pending order quantities with each lot, reserve an entire order against one lot and show the remaining stock. Preview alternative assignments before committing so small orders do not consume the only large matching lot.
Print a reviewed pick list
Export order ID, lot and quantity for physical picking. Require an explicit exception for mixed lots. Use a fresh stock snapshot each session; no automatic shop inventory sync.
